I launched yet another website: this time, for the Carbondale Community High School Band. Introducing TerrierMusic.com. It’s a community website powered by CivicSpace to host pictures, music, video, discussions, blogs, and more relating to the band. [...] Lately, my band director has been plugging TerrierMusic.com in class for the first time since it’s launch a year ago, making the activity rate on the site rise rapidly. I’ve been keeping busy with housekeeping on the site because it really hasn’t been used all that much in the year it’s existed until now. One particularly annoying problem was how the home page posts were listed in the wrong order (i.e. the earilest posts first) which was caused by the timely MySQL upgrade by my web host, which contains a known bug throwing everything off. Talk about bad timing… I had to modify the site’s code to workaround the bug because my host will take awhile in fixing the problem. [...]
